5 Spring Trends: 2023

Spring is in the air so it’s only right that we begin to look at the way we are living and adding pops of brighter colours to our home. 2023 has seen the return of nature and less of the industrial look. I recently attended the Spring Fair and everything had a very organic feel in terms of textures and materials but lets check out the trends I have been spotting…

  1. Vanilla Vibes Soft tones of vanilla, ecru, cream and white have been appearing in more homes now. Be sure to add texture to bring it to life - this can be done using boucle which is very on trend right now or heavy weight linens

  2. Go Green According to Andrew Martin “ green is the new grey this spring” - think emerald, lime, forest, pistachio, jade and sage.

  3. Open Plan Kitchen This beauty from DeVol ties in a couple of key trends for this season but open shelving is definitely having a moment and we’re here for it. Aesthetically pleasing shelves that fill us with joy.

  4. Bolder Bathrooms Terrazzo is 100% staying but if you’re budget doesn’t stretch that far then try out bold tilework which is more affordable, especially in classic black and white checkerboard and geometric patterns.

  5. Splash of colour Don’t be afraid to try out a bold colour. It can add interest and make a space feel new again. Try to use complementary colours on the opposite side of the colour wheel, it will be easier on the eye and works like magic, believe me!
