Meet the Face Behind Haylo
We caught up with the skincare queen, Hayley Williams, owner of Haylo . She is the go- to advanced skincare therapist in Wolverhampton for result driven facials and a bit of pamper time
So Hayley, Tell us a little more about Haylo Skincare…
Haylo is a luxury skincare service offering facial treatments to help clients achieve their skin goals whilst in a relaxing, safe and professional environment. We welcome all skin types, genders and ages and we pride ourselves on giving clients healthy, glowing skin!
How did you start your business?
After spending 7 years working on-board for Virgin Trains, I decided I fancied a career change and wanted something that would challenge and excite me.
I spent some hours researching ideas and eventually booked onto a course during the pandemic. I chose to train in skincare as soon as the restrictions lifted as I have always been interested in the beauty industry and had a passion for skincare for many years. After completing my qualification I began by setting up in my first ever premises, which happened to be in my dads office within an industrial estate (so not the most ideal skincare hot spot!) The room was small but perfect for me to get off the ground and as word started to spread, Haylo began to grow.
I then went on the hunt for a bigger space in a prime location to better suit my brand and customer experience and that’s when I found Bredon House. After 5 months of relentless hard work and extremely long hours, Haylo Skincare, was officially fully booked for the rest of my first year and I now run approximately 3 months in advance for appointments!
Whats your most popular treatment?
I find this changes through the months/seasons, currently my most popular treatment is microneedling and close behind is our Cinderella facial! This facial restores radiance with rehydrated, plumped and smoother skin. It includes all the steps from the classic Haylo Glow Facial with an added AHA Skin booster which is full of anti oxidants and vitamins. Finished with a refresh and tighten sheet mask.
Wheres your fave spot to unwind on the weekend in Tettenhall?
I enjoy going to The Crown for drinks or The Dog and Gun for lunch with friends. I also enjoy taking a walk around Tettenhall pool if the weather is good!
Your go to spot for a working lunch?
I love to go to the Lime Tree coffee shop for breakfast if I get some free time. Grill - it is also one of my favourite places to grab something to eat after a long days work.
Whats next for Haylo Skincare?
Courses and more qualifications. I want to continue in training and learning new treatments and skills to be able to expand my knowledge and treatments for our clients.
In the future, I would love to look at expanding the business and potentially taking someone on so watch this space!
